It seems like it would be sitting on the tray, and if the laser is in the center - accessing through the exposed tray opening, then there would be no way it could reach the data on the outside... but obviously, it does.

My sister got the bright idea to label all of our dvd's with Sharpie markers, not the burned discs, just the normal ones (i.e. Dumbo). How do I get the markings off w/o taking off the normal labels too? I read that you can use dry erase markers, but I'm not sure if that'll damage the original labels. Anybody know for sure?

I have just purchased a 2gb SD memory card and inserted it into my camera. It is only showing up that I have internal memory. I have tried to format and still nothing is happening. I have selected external memory card and it is saying 'NO CARD'. Please help me as I want this to be sorted for Christmas Day! Thanks x
