I own a sony cypershot spent way too much $ and am not satisfied w/it... looking to purchase a new one.. not wanting to spend alot....

Go for Canons. Canon cameras are the best. Try one of the PowerShot S500s or S400s. They're not too expensive and are reaaaally good.

What price range are you looking at? If it is between $200 and $300, I recommend the Canon Powershot A630. I've got the A530 and am very pleased, and this one has an extra 2.1 MP over mine, plus a swivel LCD. Go Canon!

Canon -- You can get pretty good camera in $200 these days..which is 5Mpx or 6 MPx from the internet websites...
One canon - which is 1.5 yrs old model - was avaialble in $139 in best buy....

buy a canon.....there very good quality, not that expensive.
