I have just purchased a 2gb SD memory card and inserted it into my camera. It is only showing up that I have internal memory. I have tried to format and still nothing is happening. I have selected external memory card and it is saying 'NO CARD'. Please help me as I want this to be sorted for Christmas Day! Thanks x

Thanks x It says SD on the camera, it doesnt specify what make the camera is. It is a 9 in 1 digital video camera.

Try going into the menu settings and there might be a setting that allows you to choose which memory is in use.

Make sure that the camera supports a 2GB card. Sometimes those type of cameras will only support smaller cards (i.e. 1GB, 512MB, etc.).
It is possible that the card is corrupt. I've seen people buy cards and return them immediately because the don't work.

Are you sure that the card is compatible with the camera? For example, there are 'high speed' SD cards which are not supported by all cameras/gadgets.

You have`nt tried to put the card in the wrong way round,have you? I might help if you stated the make of the camera.

It may be the wrong type. There is SD and XD. Check you camera to see whether it says XD. If it does, that's your problem. Different format.

check again if the card is of right type and is inserted in the right direction..sometimes we insert the card in a way which is not the right...i would suggest to take it to the customer care immediately if u bought it from the store and they will be able to help u out...

I have a digital camera and it is old but I have to transfer my pictures to my computer and then delete the pictures from the camera and then you still have space for pictures. Merry Christmas

My camera will not accept such big cards it is limited to 1 MB. Have you checked the instruction book to see the biggest card your camera will accept?

Yo he comprado de muchas veces ordenadores en los sitios information superhighway y siempre he encontrado l. a. mejor calidad, el ultimo ordenador es para una amiga, l. a. verdad es que parece especial creado para ella porque tiene un disco duro con una excelente capacidad de almacenaje y va bastante rápido por su gran memoria y su buen procesador, muy buena compra sin duda.
