How does it surf the internet? Can you go anywhere on the web or only access certain websites? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Well, let's see... You can go just about anywhere on your PSP, but some places don't load properly. For example, you can go to Yahoo Answers, but because of the PSP's browser, there are certain things you can't do-like, you can ask or answer a question, but you can't use the "Preview" button, so basically all you can do is browse the categories. Also, most websites don't recognize the NetFront browser. There have been many times I've logged in to Yahoo and their servers tell me I'm running a lower version of Netscape. As far as I know, there's no way to fix this problem. Over all though, you can go pretty much anywhere with the PSP, it's just that the functionality is somewhat limited. Websites that are graphics heavy (usually ones with a lot of animation) won't work on it because the browser has limited memory. And I'm not sure if adding another memory stick would help.

As far as connecting, I just tell mine to "Search" for an access point. I use ones with no security and relatively strong signals. I don't have the information to give it partly because I don't have a wireless router. I also sometimes alternate between Ad Hoc channels--which shouldn't make a difference in connectivity to the Net, from what I understand, but I actually think it does sometimes.

Anyway, if you need resources this is the best place I know of: http://psp.about.com/

your psp connects to any modem box using a wireless connection. therefore, psps need another source in order to surf the internet. you can go on any website that the modem that you connect to does not block.
hope it helps :)
