Can someone help me with Sims 2?

I have the sims 2 holiday edition and it says santa can come.How can i make santa come?

It's been awhile since I played, but I know for sure you have to have a tree out, a plate of cookies (your sim has to cook them, but make sure nobody eats them), and you have to have all your sims in bed by, I think 8pm. It's either 8 or 10pm. Whenever he comes, you can have your sims wake up and they'll be able to have conversations with him. Meeting Santa will be in their memory, but it won't show his portrait or anything in the relationship panel. Hope this helps. =)
