hook up using the usb cables or the other cable provided with ur camcorder to the computer...

1. u can either download the already recorded video
or
2. using hte software.. u can directly record on the compuer..

it depends what do u want and how is ur software supposed to handle it...

i have SONY and i can do any of the two above...
