besides the fact that no one can know when the prices on the Wii will drop, you also need to remember something
it JUST came out
back in 86, nintendo's first system came out - the NES - and costed 199.99 - a year later (i think) it dropped to 149. due to inflation of the dollar, the Wii coming out at 250 is cheaper than the nes coming out at 200
system prices don't go down til more than a year later, and generally when there are better things out there.
wii games are like 50-60. ps3 games are like 55-70. 360 games are like 45-55
price drop on wii? maybe 35 dollars cheaper by the end of 2007

Not for at least a year. New game consoles won't drop in price until there is a newer, faster console to be released.

the price could potentially drop after christmas.
or, it'll drop in order to satisfy customers if they find they aren't selling enough. that probably wont be any time soon.
i think they are around 40 dollars *probably more*
