Every time major updates are downloaded on my computer and its restarted nothing works right. Its a mess. I manage to return things to normal after a couple of hours and about 3 or 4 restarts. Why does this happen every time. This time 6 updates came in from Microsoft and what a mess. Otherwise I have no issue with my computer. Anyone know or have this happen to them?

I have a data table that I will want to filter by date and then copy to the report page. I want the user to be able to input the data on the report page and then initiate the macro. The macro should reference the date on the report page and set the filter on the data table to match. How can I do this?

Problem is the product ID page requires 5 sets of data and my cert. of authenticity only provides 4 banks of data. I have rebooted before without problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Lately, my computer is really slow on starting up. I have a window xp and I use McAfee Security Center. I figured I should scan and do all that stuff so I did. I quick scanned and disk cleaned up, but its still slow. And all of sudden, there's it just shuts down and there's this blue screen with messages written on it, I just don't understand what's wrong with my computer. Any ideas?

I dont know y it happens.. but when i am trying to format my c drive.. there is no such option of formatting .. becuase of this i have to intall xp in drive d.. but after that also.. when i am trying to format c manually .. not able to format.. there is one folder... in c.. its name is Chief.. i cant delete that folder.. its of 0 bite.. i can delete everything manually but this folder cannot be delete.. i have tried many ways to format c.. with xp cd.. with partation system.. but there is no option to delete this drive.. can anybody help me....????

i made a presentation with hyperlinks on main page...
the page runs according to custom animation & suddenly ends after the display of last object, though i have made a long timings in standby using rehearse timings...
All this happens when i view this presentation on my school's computer....
please help....

Is it possible to open the form first before opening the my excel file?

I have created a form in excel using its vb, some sort of a welcome form, I want to open the excel file upon entering the loagin Id as "abcd" and password "defg". and pressing the enter command button what code must I write to accomplish this thing?
I know there is a built in function in excel to do this, But I want a vb form!
Please help me a code form has two text boxes for login ID and password, two button for enter and exit.
I also want a message box appear "You have entered invalid password/login id please try again' when enter button is pressed but with incorrect login id or paswword.
what code will i write to:
1. Textboxlogin name fi any,
2. Textbox password if any,
3. exit button,
4. enter button.

I've bought a lot of songs from itunes and must of spent at least over £100 on it, but recently my computer had to be reformatted and it deleted EVERYTHING.
i still have all my music on my ipod but no music on my computer, i don't wanna have to pay out all that money again to get my music back.

I need a graphics package which will allow me to create a block of colour with a lighting effect at the top or in the corner or somewhere else.

E.g. for a black block and with the light source at the top, the square would be grey at the top and gradually become darker towards the bottom.

Ideally, the package would be free :-) but I don't mind shelling out a few dollars if it is fairly decent. It'd have to be downloadable though as time may be tight on this project.
