Software - November 2007

It does this to all DVDs and home videos, you name it. It seems like I watched one through one time anyways, and when I played it again, it worked fine. Why is this and how can I fix it?

Every time I try to open an old project I get just the wireframe, no textures. I've tried everything, yes that includes turning the textures on and off.

I bought a new laptop. This new one has Vista on it, the old one had Windows XP. Now none of my CD ROM games will work on my new computer! I tried downloading from the internet, but my area does not have wireless yet and all I have is dial-up internet. It takes over two hours to download a game, and my ISP disconnects me during the process.

So - does anyone know where I can find CD ROM games that are compatible with Vista?

i had internet explorer in the beginning then i got firefox because ya. then firefox stopped working so i got netscape. then i realized netscape is the exact same thing as firefox. just without bugs and stuff. so wich do you prefer?(i know netscape is outdated but it looks way better now and functions better than ff and ie too!)

Hi, could you please tell me if there is anyway i can update new drivers or anything else without making a purchase, to be able to play this game as it says it's required..
my graphis card info is as follows.

also the error message i get from flight sim when i open it up is basically that i need to have a geForce3/Radeon8500 class or better graphics card...also it says, invalid hardware or driver..

As you can see, i was given quite a few different burning programs, but what about programs to get the copywrite off, and programs to upload them onto my computer? I'm not sure if my DVDshrink is working because I cant upload because of copywrite blocks.

Help?

..... because I hardly ever use it, but it keeps telling me I've got an illegal disc. I believe that I'm selecting the correct drive, I list the required files in the right pane, select the correct folder (I think) in the left pane, set it of at a 2x burn (or a 4x burn) and, no matter what I do, it tells me I've got an illegal disc. Can somebody tell me how to overcome this problem please. A TU to all helpers. Thanks.

Does anyone know of a free computer program that lets you make custom CD labels? And once I have that, does anyone know how to actually put them on there so the CDs are still playable?

That's what it says everytime I open up a new or old document on Microsoft Word, or when I minimize a document and reopen it, or even when I change from viewing one document to another.

I click no, yet it always asks again. I've had this for a while, and it is very tiring.

I am running Windows XP and cannot find my Word cd, nor do I have any wish to install anymore features. It works fine as it is!

Any help to get rid of this would be greatly appreciated!

He bought a laptop in late '06 and had a Windows Vista disc malied to him. He said he installed it and registered online. My question is, If I borrow his disc to upgrade my laptop, will it work? It says "Windows Vista capable" on a the sticker of my laptop. Do I have to register the software online so Vista will work? Is the software he recieved limited only to his computer?

After I san for ad-aware program, it gives me results and under the MRU List, for the negligible ojects, it always gives me 13 files but it never deletes them because the number is always the same. Does anybody know why it does that? Is it normal?

I am doing a powerpoint presentation in my Music Appreciation class on Aaron Copland. I found a video I want to use in my powerpoint. One of the videos is on YouTube and the other is on another website. How do I get them on my powerpoint? I tried to right click and save, but it won't let me.
