I bought a new laptop. This new one has Vista on it, the old one had Windows XP. Now none of my CD ROM games will work on my new computer! I tried downloading from the internet, but my area does not have wireless yet and all I have is dial-up internet. It takes over two hours to download a game, and my ISP disconnects me during the process.

So - does anyone know where I can find CD ROM games that are compatible with Vista?

I am very sorry that you are frustrated. I don't know what part of the world that you reside in. Where I reside people who purchase new computers pre-loaded with "Vista", and are not happy with this platform, can return their pc back to the store of purchase and request that the store load Windows XP Pro., or XP Home.

I know for a fact that many people have returned their new computers with "Vista", loaded and were able to obtain a replacement platform of Windows XP. Don't know what else to suggest to you.

Worth a try atleast.

you may also want to check if the laptop has a dvd rom in it and if the disks are DVDs because a CD rom wont read a DVD!
