Every time I try to open an old project I get just the wireframe, no textures. I've tried everything, yes that includes turning the textures on and off.

If SketchUp ran fine before but doesn't run properly now: My guess is, Windows Updates did a bad graphics card update.
Here's the latest Vista graphics card requirements for SketchUp:
If yours meets the minimum specs, do you have the latest stable drivers?
If not, get them from the graphics manufacturer's website, not nVidia.

yes it does currently work with Vista. I use it a lot.

you probably need to download or upgrade your driver go to vista downloads
