i am having errors when booting my ocmputer and would liek to reinstal the operating system. however the computer was a floor modle and did not come with origianl disks. does microsoft offer free shipping of operating disks to users ?if so please let me no, if not...what do i do? thanks

I think macintosh is CRAP... Giving 5,000 bucks for a WAIST of money! They only give you like 2GB preinstalled RAM. For 5000??? Thats stupid... Microsoft will give you 1500 for 2GB RAM.... Mac is being overated... Windows is better.... EVERYONE has windows. How come? its better... For home AND businesss. Its the bomb. Mac sucks. Makes those commercials that Mac is better. Making fun of Bill Gates. I wouldnt be talking. Look whos the richest man on earth.. The richest company?? MICROSOFT!! ITS THE BOMB... What do you guys think??

This is the error msg that i'm getting--A fatal error exception OE has occured at 0028:C1691D48. The current application will be terminated.---

I have a pentium III 600 desk top computer with Windows XP OS. It's been running good but last night while it was on screen saver's mode monitor went black and I partly read a message that a certain file was corrupted and cannot display. When I restart the computer it now asks for a bootable disk. I dont have that. I dont have also the XP installer. Is there a way to for me to fix the problem like booting it to a safe mode?

Hi people, I recently bought a new system from dell, I had windows vista home premium on it, but I liked the Dreamsense so I went to buy windows Vista Ultimate and install on it. So I lost all the drivers for graphic cards, sound card...etc. Dell did not send me a cd for graphic card so i had to download it online. I downloaded it, and it would not let me install the driver+ softwares because it says I have to log on as an administrator to install it. But my account in windows is the one and only account, and it is an administrator.
Anyone knows how to fix this problem? I have contacted dell tech support but they kept pushing me back and forth with those phone numbers and came out they couldnt help me because my "service tag is flagged"?!? I just ordered the system on May 20 and received it 2 days ago.

I read one dude's story about how he used one defragmenter and then used another one and it messed up his OS. Due to the positive results on my other question, I have chosen Diskeeper over Windows Defragger. But I had already started windows defragger, and planned on using the best one I could find to follow it up. But after reading about that guy, I would like to know if running Diskeeper after windows defragger will mess up my OS?

you see, i have searched the web for notepad for the psp and all i have found are verson 1.50 and 2.00 notepads. Every time I put one of these vresions onto my psp and try to run it, it tells me that the data ic currupt. I have tried downloading it from several different sites but the result is always the same.

Ok, I am looking for the best free photo editing software. I am hopeing to find something that will let me change the image background & add props to my photos. Would also like to be able to combine 2 pictures into one. I have tried the Ulead free trials but they are so complicated to use & by the time I figured them out the 30 day trial was up. I'm going to explain this with a lot of details. Now, whenever I open my Microsoft Word (2003), the blinking cursor is at the very top of the page. Picture this in your mind, the cursor blinking at the very top of the page on Microsoft Word. When I used to open Microsoft Word (2003), the blinking cursor would be a bit lower than the top. Who ever is reading this, refer to your Microsoft Word. When you open it, is there cursor a bit lower than the top? Please, please, please answer my question. No one so far has given me the right answer.
