Mac is being overated... Windows is better.... EVERYONE has windows. How come? its better... For home AND businesss. Its the bomb. Mac sucks. Makes those commercials that Mac is better. As for the applications, yes, Microsoft Windows does dominate the desktop market, but you can find some situations where that isn't the case. Mac has made tremendous improvements with OSX and the open source community has been working with WINE to enable applications on the Linux based operating systems.

Personally, I tend to like Microsoft XP for the desktop, although I would be happier if Solaris made a comeback for the desktop/workstation.
