I have a new software from my friend, but i don'n know effect of it, how to use it? please tell me more.

I just bought a new laptop with vista pre installed and I want to remove it and put windows xp on, because vista is not compatible with my printer. If i do this will I loose the information already on my computer?

I am reluctant to add another set of drivers. I tried iTunes once and it attempted to control all media players, until I uninstalled it. Don't want the same problem with Netflix movie player...

the broswer takes a long time to load along with outlook express i ran clean disk and error check and ran defrag but it dont seam to help thank u

I hit start type sysedit in the Run box and voila
c:\PROGRA~1\SYMANTEC\532EVNT1.DLL cant run it !
look on the net, DLL file guess ? NON EXISTANT ! what the $#@#$ Any one know?

I have Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. I'm getting a new notebook soon because this one is getting a little old. I love this program, but it's not available on my new notebook. SO I decided to transfer the program through a CD. Problem is, I don't know how.

OK guys, I'm a bit lost here.

Lets say I have a list of names

danny
Mike
Steve

Now, I defined a name for this range, called LIST

Now, I want to use a list box so I can scroll in the box, pick
the name, and then have the name appear in the "cell link"
area I identified in the format control section of the list box.

However, I never get the name appearing in the cell link cell, I get the number of the position of the name in the list.

EG, If I scroll the list in the listbox and pick MIKE, the number 2
appears in the cell link.

HOW do I get the word MIKE to appear instead of the number of the list????


HELP!!!!!

I would like to find a way to do a differential backup every night as a sleep onto my External Hard Drive. Is there any software I can download or that is already on Windows to do this? It'd also be nice if I could also specifically choose what files for it to check for changes and back up. Thanks

this dvd is in bad shape, scratches all over it on both sides. dvd players wont even read it. ive only tried to rub it with a cloth but this dvd has an important video project for school that i only have one copy of because the editor i created it on got an upgrade which in the process wiped all the previous memory off it. i would hate to lose this video, ill try and even pay anything, please help!
