I have Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. I'm getting a new notebook soon because this one is getting a little old. I love this program, but it's not available on my new notebook. SO I decided to transfer the program through a CD. Problem is, I don't know how.
I have Nero and Microsoft XP

Put the installer on the CD !!

Copy and paste won't work, but you can transfer the program to the CD just by copying everything related to Pain Shop Pro 8. and sending them to a blank CD. Then the problem is, you cannot use the program on the other computer even if you copied all of the contents from the CD. The proper approach is by using a CD-Installer. Without this, copy and paste is nothing.

You have to insert a cdrw into the pc with the program you want. Go to my computer under the start tab. click on the cd drive. a new page will open. minimize the page. go to programs under the start tab. right click the program you would like to copy or move and move it to the cd. if the program consists of multiple files you may have to load on to separate disks. If it is a coded program from a manufacturer Y ou will have to know the key code to be able to transfer it. The easiest way to move info from one pc to another is to use a flash drive a 1 or 2 gig insert the flash drive in the usb port it will open automatically and highlight the files or programs you would like to hove then right click and choose move to and choose your removable device....

Copy the folder with the same name as the program in C:\Program Files\ to a USB drive.

go and buy the installer.you cannot copy and paste into another computer.
