of windows 2000. . .. it has 160 mb ram.... i want to know whether my system will slow down by it or not.. also can i upgrade from windows 98 to 2000...

I dont think you should see a difference. Win2k is pretty fast about booting! I still use it on my lan systems. Good op sys! Just make sure you dont load a bunch of software that loads on startup!

so you can easily install windows 2000 , and Yes , you can upgrade from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 .

yes you should as long as u do a fresh install with no partition, eliminating 98 totally. u really need more ram. at least 256. with what u have u will be pushing it! good luck!

yes you can, i was using a 166mgz pc to run windows 2000. by the way 160mb is an odd ram figure... its either 32,64, 128, 256, 512, 1024.........
