Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I went to MS forum & search for solution. It mentioned to install the lastest Direct-X but when I run "dxwebsetup.exe".
It prompt another error "A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid"

I went into the "Computer Management" and check that Cryptographic Services is enabled and set to automatic as per advised by MS forum.

Anyone can advise what happen? And how to install that Direct-X.

you are just sharing files. i don't care what the laws are there should be nothing against sharing. they should not be able to control that. bootlegging fine i can understand that i'm all for that. but if a person chooses to share files with other people then that shouldn't be a problem. record companies and movie companies have many venues of profit.

Mac makes excellent computers, and a stable O/S to go with them. There are a variety of Linux versions that give you an extremely stable O/S to run on PC's (and macs now that they use intel processors). However - it seems that the religious adherents to mac or linux are a little too quick in posting answers to questions regarding Windows Vista where the user is having a problem completely unrelated to Vista, and is usually due to the user being an idiot, which would have the same result regardless of what O/S they were using?

I want to completely re-install my stupid windows vista software. so i put the cd which has the operating system in the drive and restart the computer so it can load the cd, but stupid vista won't load the cd and says the a error or something and goes to this thing that says it will automatically fix the problem but it doesnt , it says it can't fix it and it restarts, and thats when the stupid cycle starts

The next version of Windows was originally codenamed "Blackcomb," the company renamed it to "Windows Vienna" in 2006. Windows Vienna is going to be a major release with a totally revised GUI.

Vienna is targeted at revolutionizing the way we interact with our PCs, for instance, the "Start" philosophy, introduced in Windows 95, may be completely replaced by a "new interface" which was said in 1999 to be scheduled for Blackcomb(Vienna), before being moved to the Longhorn(Vista) project, and then back to Blackcomb.

The Explorer shell is expected to be replaced in its entirety, with features such as the taskbar being replaced by a new concept based on years of research from Microsoft's "Vibe" lab. Projects such as GroupBar & LayoutBar are expected to make an appearance, and a new way of launching applications is expected - Microsoft is investigating a pie menu-type circular interface.

Microsoft says by the end of 2009 Vienna will hit the shelves.

Now I can access the movie only after I started in safe mode then moved it and restarted in real mode plus I was Disconnected from the internet and also I am not on a network I have a firewall and a av program running.

My sound on my computer works fine, but when I try to play a DVD on WMP, the sound won't work, but I can still see what is playing, just no sound. I checked all of the sound options and it seems like everything is working fine, but there is still no sound. Help!
