They have software for everything. You can choose the sepcifications like you operating system or whatever, and if you search for rar it will give you a list of available software.
I just downloaded one yesterday...ExtractNow is an excellent choice I'm happy with. It's free and VERY easy to use.

go to www.download.com and download the free version of WINRAR
Its an evaluation product so after some time a little box will keep coming up saying purchase the product
but if you press close in the dialog box you can use it without any problems

I use AlZip for all of my compressed file needs. It supports MANY different file types including ZIP, RAR, ACE, CAB, etc.

The best program to decompress files is Winrar, you can unzip all kind of files!(.zip, .rar, .7z, .iso, .tar, .jar, .cab, .gz, .ace, .uue, .bz2, etc...)
