I recently uninstalled cyberdefender internet anti-virus program and installed another one, But when I checked in control panel, it said that the cyberdefender is still on their and I know for sure that I uninstalled it. How do I get rid of it because my system has been running slower than usual since I installed the other antivirus program?

I have 4 workbooks with 30 tabs in each one. They are the same template to show how many bills for each carrier is paid each day. I need to add tab 1 of each workbook together to get a grand total, then tab 2 and so on. Each workbook belongs to one person showing their work for the day. Some people pay the same carriers. How is the best way to add all of this information up? Each workbook contains 30 tabs to show each day of the month and each workbook belongs to one employee. I need a grand total for all of the employees by day and then by the month. Can someone please help?????

I found a windows 98 cd and tried to reinstall it which didnt work becasue i needed the product code. So now everytime i go on it leads me to windows 98 setup...and when i cancel my computer shuts down..how can i stop that...?

i download movies over night. should i "log-off" or keep my pc on "stand by" all that while, but the movie should keep downloading.

Last time i left it on(normal working mode)..it turned off automatically after 2-3 hours..

i ofcourse switch off the monitor..what else?so even if i cant save electricity...just suggest me what to do, so that pc doesnt get off on its own..and keeps running until i dont turn it off on my own

i tryed to copy photoshop cs 2 , And when i copy it on my laptop i goto my desktop and try to install it and it doesnt work.?

Im new at this what should i do should i use a sertant type of burning software im just compressing the files then writing them on a disc , any info will help

I'm thinking of buying a DVD burning software.

My questions are:

1. Can a person get into legal problems if he/she burns/rips DVD into their own computer only. Also can they come after you if you burn DVD for own personal use. A copy or two.

2. If it is "safe" can anyone advise of a good reliable and simple to use DVD burning software?

In Gmail, it's easy to see the progression of a conversation as sent and received mail are kept together. My new job now forces me to use Outlook. I've been filing incoming mail into folders, but how can I easily keep track of sent mail or replies associated with my received mail? All the mail in my folders is received mail. Do I have to manually file my sent mail too? Ugh!

Half way through playing pc game The Hobitt I got an error message "Meridian.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". My video card is Radeon 9800 pro and I have 512 MB RAM so it seems that would be enough. What is Meridian.exe and why doesn't it want to work so late in game play?

Having trouble encoding videos to DVD format so have downloaded DVD Flick. I get the following error message: "It is recommended to put your project's destination folder on a drive with the NTFS file system. Older file systems like FAT32 cannot handle files larger than 2 gigabyte in size, which can be created during the encoding process" Please help
