to get there? Vista requires too much RAM (I have 256). Do I have to update with Windows Pro or go to something totally different?

My computer failed to start after installing BitDefender
This is the error message that I am getting

STOP: c000021a (Fatal System Error)
The Windows Logon Process System process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x0000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down.

I tried to uninstall BitDefender in Safe Mode but was told that Windows Installer Service was not running, thus could not uninstall it. I tried to start the service manually yet it would not be started in Safe Mode. So it seems the only way to uninstall the software is to logon to windows. However, the is precisely the problem since I cannot logon. My computer just keeps restart on its own.

Any ideas how to fix this problem? Thanks

So I missed my last class on Quark & our newest assignment is designing a CD cover, a CD booklet, & back CD cover. One of the things he went over in class is how to bleed & we need to do this for the assignment. I know a lot about Quark but that's one thing I don't know how to do. I don't know how it even looks. problems problems help
my mums got a windows xp instalation sp1 and key which updated fine to service pack 2,until now
i refomatted loaded bk the windows .when i got to update it says enter a vaild cd ,,,ive tryed three different cds that are service pack 1,,,,and all say the same thing....i got hold of a windows instalation sp2 but my key does not work with it

ive heard that windows have stopped updating from servive pack 1 from early lastyear ..dont know how true this is .. and that could be the problem
if so will i have to buy a new copy of windows,or can i buy the sp2 cd from microsoft and continue updating from there please help sp1 is bugging me ........many thanks people

I love to burn really good movies. I copy them onto my harddrive and then burn a copy for myself. Well I had to redo my computer and I lost it and it is no longer downloadable. Is there anyone out there who can tell me a good program to run to do this? No BS from anyone.
