So I missed my last class on Quark & our newest assignment is designing a CD cover, a CD booklet, & back CD cover. One of the things he went over in class is how to bleed & we need to do this for the assignment. I know a lot about Quark but that's one thing I don't know how to do. I don't know how it even looks. So if someone can please help me with this I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!

I do agree with the first poster.
If you know alot about Quark, you should know it.
Its the easiest thing to do in Quark.
Unfortunately, most designers (or so called "designers") dont know what they are doing with the program.

OK, I'll get off my soap box, and answer the question.

Say your document size is 5"x", anything past the 5"x5" document size will be a bleed.
A line, text, images.

Most designer think bleed is automatically added in, and they stop their lines, images, etc. right at the edge of the document. But it doesnt work that way.
