I'm trying to format my manuscript and I need to put 'Page ___' on each seperate page. How can I do this? Is there a way to make each page header different?

Insert a section break, then in the header uncheck "same as previous". You will have different headers, in your sections.

You don't need to use headers for page numbering. That's time consuming.

Word will automatically number your pages for you.

Click on "Help" in Word, then type in "page numbers". It will give you perfect easy instructions to do this.

This is pretty easy, and built right into header formatting.

go to View, header and footer
now type in 'Page 'and click on the first icon (named Insert page number in the Header and footer toolbar (this toolbar comes up when you click view, header and footer) next type in 'of' now click the second icon (Insert number of pages) and there you go.
