Stupid Vista doesn't work!?

Question

I want to completely re-install my stupid windows vista software. so i put the cd which has the operating system in the drive and restart the computer so it can load the cd, but stupid vista won't load the cd and says the a error or something and goes to this thing that says it will automatically fix the problem but it doesnt , it says it can't fix it and it restarts, and thats when the stupid cycle starts

dont bother i tryed vista and so has my m8s and its crap loads of errors and you cant download **** id say stay with xp y fix something if it isnt broke m8.

The way you put it, you are trying to install Vista over Vista. That could be your problem.

You never said if it's complete Vista or just an upgrade. With an upgrade you need to put in Windows 2000 or Windows XP in first. If you try to install the upgrade on a fresh drive without those other systems, it won't work.

Vista isn't stupid, it was just created with the assumption that everyone who will use it is stupid.
It is a very dumbed down operating system that only lets you do things that it thinks you should do, which is why it does not take user commands very well.
If you don't like the idea of being though of as stupid by your operating system than maybe it is time for you to graduate to Mac or Linux.
Linux is the future so if you don't want to be left behind then you should learn it.

I doubt that Vista is "stupid", you're just frustrated.
