if i have made any wromg changes to my BIOS does system restore in Win XP undo and correct it back ?

No, system restore does not protect BIOS settings, they are completely separate. In most BIOS settings there is an option to reset everyhting to factory settings.

BIOS and operating systems (OS) are two different things. BIOS will run even without an OS installed, while OS can be controled by BIOS. That means if you made changes to your bios, then only there it can be undone. . .

How to do it?

Simply enter the CMOS setup and then look for "Use Setup Defaults".

Exit and save changes.

No it will not. Either go back in bios and change back settings or reset the bios (clear bios) check mb manual on how to clear cmos.
