-> I got this new 120 GB HD and installed windowsXP SP2 without making any kind of partion or

formatting. my user name was stated as paradox_effect with no one else as any user and mine being

the administrator. Now I made this image of a couple of CD's and stored them on the hard drive. I

also made their folder along with the files in it encrypted by going in the properties section of

the folder and clicking on the advanced tab and choosing between compress and encryption.
Now a problem occured and the windows use to restart while loading so I installed the windowsXP

SP2 again without formatting or deleting the pervious windows folder with my new user name stated

as para. now the recently installed windows was working perfectly.
But I was not comfortable with using the name para as a user name, as the first windows was still

not working and I wanted my name back as paradox_effect. So I deleted the first windows file with

user name as Paradox_efect, and again for the third time installed windows as my name

paradox_effect. But now I was unable to remove the property of the encryption from the files as

they won't burn on the cd unless there encryption is removed.
And I do not have any copy.
Please help. this is no joke though all this may sound strange.

I have the iMac with intel processor, i got microsoft xp installed through bootcamp, can i install parallels after windows? because i downloaded the trial version of parallels and it couldn't figure out that i have windows installed, any help appreciated... thx :)

i insatalled a java program...in my system...but due to some error its not working ...while installing new version a msg is displaying that 'you already have this version installed in ur system..first remove through add\remove programs and then proceed..'..but.im unable to delete that in ctrl panel due to 'fatal error during the installation'...plz help me..!

i ve a pirated cd of windows xp.i installed the same copy of windows on my friends pc....wen i installed windows media player 11 on my pc, the validation process fails but wen i install the same wmp11 setup on my frnds pc it gets smoothly installed ....how can this happen????

I use mozilla firefox, I have Java on my computer, and Java is turned on in Mozilla Options. However, images do not appear on my computer (for the new and old Yahoo). In the old yahoo there are broken image boxes to symbolize pictures I can't see (unless I right click to view image in a separate window). In the new yahoo, the layout is all wrong. I reinstalled Java and restarted my computer, yet this did not help. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Now I have another question; my DEFRAG report indicates a lot of fragmented files as MPEG. These are not video but DVD slideshows. I cannot get into the files, but the dates are back in Nov...can I delete these files without causing a problem?

If these temp internet files were manually deleted by mistake, could I recover some or all of them if I realised my mistake later on.
Would they be overwritten by newly saved files if left deleted for a period of time before their restoration. Assume the cache to be small at about 500Mb on a 60Gb disc.
If the cache is deleted every two days is there any chance of recovering ealier deleted cache files.
