I use mozilla firefox, I have Java on my computer, and Java is turned on in Mozilla Options. However, images do not appear on my computer (for the new and old Yahoo). In the old yahoo there are broken image boxes to symbolize pictures I can't see (unless I right click to view image in a separate window). In the new yahoo, the layout is all wrong. I reinstalled Java and restarted my computer, yet this did not help. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I had the same exact thing happen on my computer, install went great on laptop, desktop had issues. First make sure your firewall is set to allow java, popups for www.yahoo.com. Something you can do is delete cookies, disable firewall then open browser and see if everything loads on the yahoo site, if it does the firewall is the culprit...... Also a note, I have been having issues with the new java 9 platform as a whole also, I found alot of complaints on the java website about this version, so you may want to uninstall java 9 and find java 8 to install until the bugs get worked out.....

Hope this works for you.

I think it's a Yahoo! Problem. It started happening about halfway between now and when they opened the Yahoo! Mail Beta. Go to Help on the mail page and send Yahoo! feedback, or go to the Yahoo! Help page and ask their support.
