There are different types of text on your pc screen;
non-editable text; - you cant re-type it, but you might be able to copy and paste it into notepad.
editable text; - you can type, copy or paste it.(eg the writing in this box, or anything I type into Notepad.)
and hyperlinks; - underlined, when you click on it it sometimes changes colour takes you someplace else. Hyperlinks are mainly used in web pages, rarely in programs.

Not all text on a webpage is linked to another page(hyperlink). Sometimes its just writing. A link is added by the web designer when its relevant and needed.
