is it possible to have a 'microphone' vol. control like the 'speaker' vol. control icon on the desktop? on XP.

I use my mic. quite often and I sometimes have a problem with 'feedback'. a Microphone Control by my Volume Control Icon would be great. I have XP Pro.

i do not think so, but you can access mic. volume from right-click on speaker and clicking on Open Volume Control

Double left click the speaker icon in the lower right. When the Advanced Window comes up select Properties. Click on the Mic box and close. Anytime you wish t adjust the Mic volume just double click the Speaker Icon.
