iMac and Parallels?

I have the iMac with intel processor, i got microsoft xp installed through bootcamp, can i install parallels after windows? because i downloaded the trial version of parallels and it couldn't figure out that i have windows installed, any help appreciated... thx :)

You should run parallels when the imac is running MacOS. You should not need bootcamp. Make sure you are running MacOS first and then install parallels.
