can you reinstall windows if your computer crashes?

if my computer gets a virus or ends up at the blue screen cant you reformat the drive and reinstall windows

Yes it can be reformatted, but normally the computer store will clean the computer of any viruses etc that may have caused it to crash before reformatting.

yes however u lose everything everything and sometimes virus actually damage the hardware to not just the software
