I received a forward email today with a powerpoint presentation that had sound and a really beautiful story. I would like to make the same thing but with family photos and email it to family members. Im not "computer smart" and need some help. Thanks so much!
1. I have windows xp.. do I have powerpoint because I do not see it, or do I need to purchase it?
2. I would like to put a project together with family photos and sound... I dont want to finish and then find out that I cannot email it because the file is to big, which sometimes happens to me. How do I know how many pictures I can add to the presentation and then how do I know how much I can email? I would like to put pictures with music in the backround, could anyone help. Thank you so much... this means a lot!!

I have both IE and firefox But whenever i click on something on msn or any button supposed to open in the internet it opens with Firefox but i want it to open with IE how can i set IE as my defult browser?

I just bought a new Gateway with Vista preloaded on it. I really don't like Vista and I want to install XP instead.

Would it be possible to install XP and then later in a year or so, put Vista back on?

And what do I need to do before/after switching?

ok so i got my computer to do a critical restore BUT now i cant install my windows vista the CD is NOT scratched it goes throught all the installation steps smoothly but when it gets to the last step it stops at 89% freezes and starts again i left for work and their was a alert on my screen stating that the version of vista could not be used PLEASE i know its not a usual question but please any tought wouls help

PS ive tryed more than 5times to install but wont work ive tryeied from the boot menu and also in windows but neighter work

ok im goin to try this again...i lost my windows media player...i upgrader to media 11 but i dont have original code for my pc..now i wanna go back to what i had originally but i cant get it back. how do i get something where i can see wmvs , mpegs ..etc...i installed real player but i cant view wmvs...someone help..thank you..i have an xp

When I click on it from Add/Remove Programs, a wizard-type window opens, and says "Please wait while Setup configures the components. This may take several minutes, depending on the components selected." The progress meter goes by in about 3 seconds, and then the wizard says "You have successfully completed the Windows Components Wizard" but it never shows me the list, or allows me to add any components

FWIW I'm trying to install IIS.

A laptop I'm working on has an error on startup "lsass.exe" is passing something to something or other.. I forget the exact error message. I've searched far and wide for a solution to the problem. I've even used some ERD Commander 2005 app to get into the file system just to back things up, but it started saying "Access Denied" so I'm hearing and feeling like the only solution to my problem at this point is to reinstall windows. Can I do this without losing the data in my documents? It's very important that I keep this data...


I'm not getting a mac.

Ok, before you answer the question, READ ALL OF IT. I don't need or want answers such as "just cut and paste it over".

I am currently a full time student (18 units) and a full time worker (36+ avg hours per week with 3 jobs). One of my jobs is grading computer science homework for some instructors who I took past classes with.

I am needing to create an excel worksheet (which I have already done) as a templete for grades, then export it into a stand alone word document. I need to do it this way because I have to grade at least 75 of these every 2 weeks. I am currently not able to find sufficient information on how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How can I change a mp3 to a .wav for free......yes....free..... without having to buy software, or is it possible to get a url code from an audio file? (not sure if thats even possible)
I don't plan on changing many mp3s to wavs, just have this one project that needs a .wav so I'd hate to have to purchase software for something that I'll hardly ever use.

The site opens, I type in the song and artist, and then it just sits there. Does it have to do with the bars at the bottom left? Mine have a small green one, and the rest are red. This is frustrating!
