You need to change your resolution. I think that is what it is but I don't have enough information. Try this:
Right click anywhere on your desktop
Click "Properties"
Go to the "Settings" tab
Where it says "Screen Resolution" keep trying any of them from
800x600 to 1152x864
Any further and you computer will shut down. Or at least, mine did!
