Powerpoint is very user friendly...you can pick up most of it by just playing around and using the HELP button or office assistant. Here's an online tutorial, and a search for powerpoint tutorials will give you many others.

After suffering from so-called "PowerPoint poisoning" in too many meetings ("And now, in slide 734, you can see ..."), I don't know if I should be encouraging you to use it.:-)
I recommend "PowerPoint for Dummies", too. However, don't forget that they also do "Office for Dummies" too, which might be better value for money.

I would try here:

As well, PowerPoint 2000 for Windows for Dummies is a great resource.

The best way to find your way around is to play with it - it's dead easy to use, and with a bit of trial and error, you can produce a very professional looking presentation, with full animation and transition effects.
Use the help menu for suggestions.
Good luck.

use the help menu you should find some tutorials there, but if u don't have the help option go to the website and access the help
options from there, the program is pretty simple so you wont have any problems.
