How can I change a mp3 to a .wav for free......yes....free..... without having to buy software, or is it possible to get a url code from an audio file? (not sure if thats even possible)
I don't plan on changing many mp3s to wavs, just have this one project that needs a .wav so I'd hate to have to purchase software for something that I'll hardly ever use.

Download Audacity:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

It's free and easy to use. You may need a separate Mp3 plugin to read and save MP3s, but it does support the format. Should say somewhere on the site. And hey, costs nothing.

maximum track utility will do this. iTunes, domicile windows Media participant, Media Monkey, and so on. only tell it you prefer to burn a cd for a cd participant (no longer an mp3 cd) and it will do the conversion to WAV immediately while it burns the CD.
