my dad wont let me use limewire and i am not buying anything from itunes. so what other program can i use?

Ive gotten the BAD_POOL_CALLER error about 7 times, and now, I have gotten the PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA error. This time when it sent to microsoft, it said driver error. And everyone before said ram, but I ran the Mem86 program or whatever, for 10 hours straight, and it found no problems. So, how do I determine if a driver is messing up? I checked the Manage thing when you right click my computer, but they all say there working fine. But clearly, ones not.

Well i have a 40g hard drive and I am down to 100mb, I really dont have a big amount of programs installed on my system and i have absolutely no music or any files really on my computer and yet my hard drive space is almost out. Ive had my pc for more than 4 years and i suspect that all the programs that had existed on my pc trough the years have cluttered up the system. Furthermore i have had to run the system restore option more than once which might be a contributor to the problem. Now to fix this i have tried the disk defragmenter option (which did nothing) and the disk cleanup option which stays on the "scanning" and "calculating" mode for literally days and has not finalized yet, also i tried adding ram from another pc i had and saw no improvement.

I need some ideas other than the ones ive tried on how to free up space on my hard drive.

At the bottom of the screen it says, A newer version is available-click here>>. When i click on it windows media player comes on and it says, Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found.

I am running windows vista and want to run a program to use both my Yahoo, Gtalk, AOL, MSN logins. I'm sure you all have relatives and friends who don't use the same service, and I just want to be able to chat to everyone without having 4 programs running at once.

I've tried BitTorrent but it wouldnt open a file. I have Windows 98, and I need a program that can open .torrent files.

If I perform a Windows XP repair installation or upgrade installation will my slave drives still be recognizable logical drives after the install? This is very crucial for me to know because I intend to perform a Windows XP upgrade installation to "repair" my damaged Windows OS. Before I do so I would like the comfort of knowing that if I do so my two slave drives will still be recognizable (and all data on the slave drives still present) after the install.

I am still searching for a way to create a Restore disc of system data / files in the event of system failure , ive backed up documents / pics etc but want to create a disc that restores my system without reinstalling factory settings !
