As C++ is made from C and it also a Upgraded C that is why C++. But some Basic things are very same. So why C++? There cant be upgradation in C to make a better C?

My Sims2 game wouldn't play. This window kept popping up and saying the application failed, or something. It worked perfectly fine earlier.
So I uninstalled it, planning to re-install it. But when I put it in again, the install thing wouldn't come up, so I hit Run on the start menu and hit "AutoRun" (the book tells you to.) Still, it wouldn't do ANYTHING.
I'm really upset, because this game cost quite a lot. Any ideas?

I'm looking for software that can meet my needs for editing music. I want to be able to put my CD's on the software, edit songs, and burn the new songs. For specifics editing-wise, I'm looking for something where I can add new vocals and remove old ones, change the bass, and change the music itself(aka change pop to rock, etc). Is there any really good software for editing music? I'm not looking for anything free, but rather something that will sound like professional-quality. Thanks ahead!

I currently have a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP media edition, and i'm going to upgrade to Windows Vista Home edition. My question is, will my applications be saved if i download a different operating system or do i need to use a back up device ( flash drive, external c: drive) just incase ?

I closed a dialog box for wireless network search, as it was not responding and my start button ans taskbar vanished? I've tried rebooting, and i've held the mouse at the very bottom of the screen incase it was draged away, but it just doesn't come up at all. the start key on the keyboard is also not working. Anyone got any sugestions on how to get it back?

hey i was trying to download somefiles off of bit torrent, and they are not making any pogress after a couple of days. they are stuck at 0.0%. i kno the files are big, but i ndont have ten years to wait for them.also limewire continually says "we are currently connecting to the network" and then i get like no results for my search and if i do it will never let me download it. this happened all of a sudden, when both limewire and bittorrent were working before. can sum1 plz help? plz??

I purchased a DVD Burner and installed it on my computer, the software that came with it (Nero 7 Essentials) will not install on my computer. I've even tried to install it on both of my computers and I get the same error message. "The wizard was interrupted before Nero 7 could be completely installed, your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time please run setup again. Can anyone tell me what the problem is.
