My Sims2 game wouldn't play. This window kept popping up and saying the application failed, or something. It worked perfectly fine earlier.
So I uninstalled it, planning to re-install it. But when I put it in again, the install thing wouldn't come up, so I hit Run on the start menu and hit "AutoRun" (the book tells you to.) Still, it wouldn't do ANYTHING.
I'm really upset, because this game cost quite a lot. Any ideas?

Try looking for setup.exe on the disk.

Insert the cd into your drive, start>run>click browse>then look for the drive that has the cd in it then search for the setup.exe file

Once you find that you should be able to install the game again
