hey i was trying to download somefiles off of bit torrent, and they are not making any pogress after a couple of days. they are stuck at 0.0%. i kno the files are big, but i ndont have ten years to wait for them.also limewire continually says "we are currently connecting to the network" and then i get like no results for my search and if i do it will never let me download it. this happened all of a sudden, when both limewire and bittorrent were working before. can sum1 plz help? plz??

try uninstall either / both programs
once they're uninstalled and you get the message "uninstall was successful"
go in to your program folder and delete the limewire folder and/or bit torrent folder
then go download the program(s) and install and set them up again
your connection may also have something to do with this - especially if you're on dial up connection - and if someone calls you - it will usually disconnect you
to correct this - you will need to go in to your network connections property and reset the option for incoming calls while you're online

Try another P2P system. I hate bit torrent because I had the same problem too. Also Bit Torrent takes up to like 3 hrs. just for a simple download so don't use it. Limewire is very picky if you don't find a good file it will keep to connect to the server.

IT happened to me, so i used limewire to download all what i want!!it's more speedy & you'll find all what u want!!good luck!
