It used to work fine, but now it just says "connecting" for hours at a time, and it won't download anything. What the hell happened? Maybe a firewall, and if so, why would it suddenly appear, and how do I get rid of it?

I want Word for Windows. I have a new Del Windows XP computer. I want to put word on it but only have a 98 disc. How does the 98 disc compare to Windows 2003? Will I be able to update later (when I have the money to buy the 2003 disc?)

When I transfer a AVI or MPEG file onto a dvd it works but when you play it back it pauses very slightly at about every 5 seconds. Is there any way around this. I have tried using two different transferring programs and its still the same. Can anybody help?

I want to know where I can find an anti- spyware program that is free and automatically deletes tracking cookies, eliminating the need for scans every day. I have AVG 7.5, but the resident shield trial has run out and it's a big hassle to scan my hard drive every day, as it takes 4 hours to do so. I used to be able to set it to delete tracking cookies automatically, and I want to know if I can download a FREE program to do this. If so, what is the name?

I am trying to download Windows Messenger Live but when I do, I get a screen that says my security settings won't allow the download. My security settings haven't been changed. I recently downloaded Windows Service Pack 2 and have since read somewhere that this can cause problems when trying to successfully download. Anyone know how to get around this?

Evry time i try to delete the Limewire folder from my document i get this message ACCESS VIOLATION AR ADDRESS 65706D2E. READ OF ADDRESS 65706D2E and my system freeze as well as even if i just point the cursor to the folder in my documant to try to delete. it wont let me open it .

Can you tell me of a free Undelete software for recovering accidentally deleted files that can be downloaded from the internet?

Please tell me s/w you have used and trust. A random Internet search yeilds many results. Though they claim to be free, many of them are not.
