It used to work fine, but now it just says "connecting" for hours at a time, and it won't download anything. What the hell happened? Maybe a firewall, and if so, why would it suddenly appear, and how do I get rid of it?

reinstall it.also some ip carriers are blocking it or slowing it down due to the legality question?

I have this problem also, and the wierd thing is it happened when I switched from Dial Up to Broadband..pretty crazy.
You and I, we should walk up to them limewire kiddos and be like "hey foool i kik u in de face!" and kick them in the face.

exit it's icon from the task tray and restart the program. mine did it also, and fully quiting out and starting the prog from scratch helped.

well just delete limewire and get kazaa it has the largest p2p right now.
