When I transfer a AVI or MPEG file onto a dvd it works but when you play it back it pauses very slightly at about every 5 seconds. Is there any way around this. I have tried using two different transferring programs and its still the same. Can anybody help?

The problem may be related to the computer's DVD drive, the disks you are using, or the way your DVD player responds to burned media.

Convert the AVI etc. files to regular DVD type files, using Pinnacle's Studio 9 (or 10) or Ulead. Then burn them
