When i start my other computer, it just gives me a message saying, "A disk read error occured. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart." How do you fix this?

All the icons in the Image Editing Toolbar are not highlighted when I open Paperport 10 to edit a PDF file. But it will for all other file types.

I have tried every software I have and download more but still cannot convert my QuickTime movies to MPEG. I usually use Blaze Media Pro but I get a Runtime error even after installing the need Windows Media Format (WMF9) file. Then I trien TMPGEnc and get a "file not supported" message. Any help?

I Had this virus from a porn site, and after i erased it :
1) I can't set any picture as a desktop wallpaper, even the choices in Dispaly is unclickable

2) it takes a while to load my personal settings, doesn't usually take that long.

Help is truley appreciated guys :(

Hi,

I have an excel spreadsheet with tens of thousands of entries in it and many (though not all) of the date fields have been manually entered in this format - 11/03 (stands for November 2003)- under the Purchase date field.

I'd like all purchase dates to appear in the following format (I'm using a random example date) - 17 March 2003.

Given that many of my dates are accurate to the day, I'd prefer to keep the date and for those entries where it's just MM/YY I'd like to make each entry the first of that month. ie. 11/03 would become 1 November 2003.

Please could you tell me how to get these five character entries converted into date strings?

People, good day. I have Nero 7 Ultra edition which simply refuses to burn to +R/RW. It's insisting on -R/RW and if I still go ahead with a + it rejects it.
Is there something I doing right before I switch to some other simpler burner?

I have a lot of stuff in my bookmarks and need to move them to documents so they can be saved for future ref. I've been opening bookmarks, hi-liting individual files, then going to files and clicking on Save page as. I then go to documents and create folder to store what I'v X-fered from bookmarks. My question is; Is there an easier way to do this? Any answer would be appreciated however, I am not a techi. Thanks.
