WHY no sound?

this computer isnt 2 months old . but all of a sudden theres no sound. what could of happened to it?a message about ac 97 or soundman exe.keeps popping up. so where do i find it ?could it be on a aol cd

it is because of the driver.. try to install it back with your hardware cd.. or you can download it..

install sound drivers and software from the motherboard cd that u must have got with pc....

Rollback the sound driver completely and again install it. Hope this will help you.
