you should never download from microsoft if you do not have a genuine windows copy
and ,,the other thing ,how could you download if you did not validate
you must have got it from another site
the only option is....
do a system restore
or un-install wmp 11
roll-back to 10
you can use real player 10 too

If you click "continue" next to validation required, you will come to a screen with instructions. Go all the way to the bottom, and click on the alternate method. Follow the steps and you should be able to have it.

You can only use media player 11 if you have a genuine (paid for) copy of Windows. It appears you don't, so tough luck I'm afraid!
