dis problem arises when u install the setup and is not fully installed. I think u have to reinstall ur windows and again install Adobe Reader 8.0. Or May be ur rht computer configuration doesn't support Adobe 8.0 or it may be when u have downloaded Adobe it has downloaded fully, it may have shown 100% but some files would have left, it mostly happen yaar.

Download it from http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/8.x/8.0/enu/AdbeRdr80_en_US.exe

For futher assistance, msg me any time.

Okay, Lets see if I can wrap my head around this......

You have 'attempted' to download the free reader from adobe.com... correct?

Do you SAVE or RUN the downloader when you click on the link from the site? You should RUN it not SAVE and execute.

Do you get a 'Site Blocked' warning?

Here is the Tech Support Document link from the Adobe site.
