hi

im using win98

when the window boots,i hear the windows booting sound from the speakers

but when i play audio wav file or streaming audio through windows media player
and/or winamp,,,,there is allmost no sound of the playing file

ive tried to adjust the 'volume settings',but to no avail

can you help

I was online trying to watch a video and I clicked on the link to watch the vid. I heard a click, the noise that computers make when you click on a link, and usually windows media would open but it didnt open this time. I tried other again and nothing. I logged offline and opened the media player on the desktop and it wouldnt open. I restarted, opened it again and it opened but I tried going online to watch the vid again, but again the player wouldnt open and once again it wouldnt open from the desktop icon either. Has this ever happened to anyone before and does it mean something? Could it be a virus? ( I scanned for viruses and got nothing)

Anyone else have negative computer problems browsing with IE7? It would freeze up my computer, to where I had to literally hit and hold the off button to stop the jam up. I have no problems on Mozzila Firefox, or Netscape. I'm just wondering if other people have experienced problems using IE7 like I have? I had to un-install it 3 different times because all it did was mess up anything I tried to do, surfing, sending emails on Yahoo, etc. Anyone else have similar IE7 problems like this?
