Everytime I attempt to open windows explorer or open a website the "Windows Installer" application opens and shows "preparing to install" and takes forever to open the website or explorer. What can I do to fix this?

i had got this prob for ages. now its solved. so i put this coz i think it s gonna help ful to u.

1) to download the videos just go to
www.youtubex.com and download the videos in FLV format

(you can rename before save the vid to your pc. otherwise it s gonaa save as "get video". )

2) now convert your videos to WMV by using this software
http://www.box.net/public/rjdoakzpt0

just download this software and choose the flv file as input file. chosse "to convert AVI format" and convert then.its just simple

remember WMV is a type of AVI files. so just convert flv to avi format and its dont. hope this helped u

I have used Nero 7 for the rendering with the Dolby 5.1 plug-in and I keep getting a scratchy noise when I play it in my DVD player. The DVD player accepts the file type and disk type? What else can I do? Any settings in Nero 7 to consider?

Hello,

I downloaded some videos and I am trying to burn them to DVDs. The videos are in avi and WMV formats. I have used DVDsanta and WinAVI to convert them, but since they are the demo versions they leave a big watermark in the middle of the screen saying to buy the full version. Can someone please tell me where I can DL a video converter for free that will not leave a watermark.

I am building a class database tracking good behavior points.
Every nine weeks if a student has earned 15 or more points they are invited to a sundae party. The students who are invited to the party have 15 points deducted from their total at the start of the next nine week cycle, those who do not get invited keep their total points.
What formula can I use if excel to deduct the 15 points from those who have that many and then keep the difference (for example if the student has earned 18 points, 18-15=3, they keep those 3 points going into the next 9 week period). At the same time I want excel to keep those students who may of only earned 12 points in the first nine weeks to track those points into the second nine week period.

I have a program that basically copies data, however it's a trial version, so after it's copied X amount of data, a dialogue/pop-up box appears and says "buy now to prevent this happening". You merely have to click OK and then it'll continue copying.

Is there a quick download that will automatically click OK for the user so that I don't have to keep checking to see whether it needs to be "restarted"?

I know there's something for Outlook that automatically clicks "Yes" when it pops up the "do you want to allow access to your mail?" -- something like that...
