I saved a file in Word Perfect at the same time my computer locked up. It is now in unicode text. Help!?

I have a feeling all the data is gone, but would like to convert it from unicode to English again.

right click the file
Open with.. word perfect
see if word perfect will convert it back to what it was.

Have you tried simply opening the "Unicode" file then saving it as a Word Perfect file?

unicode text is a cool format

you wont loose any data .... use microsoft word and try opening in many of the unicode format that are there.... one would work

but make sure before u close to save it as a DOC or TXT file
