i had got this prob for ages. now its solved. so i put this coz i think it s gonna help ful to u.
1) to download the videos just go to
www.youtubex.com and download the videos in FLV format
(you can rename before save the vid to your pc. otherwise it s gonaa save as "get video". )
2) now convert your videos to WMV by using this software

just download this software and choose the flv file as input file. chosse "to convert AVI format" and convert then.its just simple
remember WMV is a type of AVI files. so just convert flv to avi format and its dont. hope this helped u

Check out http://www.savetube.com you can save any youtube video or music video! Look at their tools section too, they offer tools to convert to downloaded video to any format, avi, mpg, etc. Hope this helps!
