Software - December 2006

I upgraded my internet explorer for the 7 and now my internet is not working. I already uninstall the ie 7 and the ie6 is not working... I already reset my dsl modem and still not working.. I also formated my computer and reinstall everything back from original and my internet sens be online but I cannot browse. I have my windows xp original with the service pack 2 reinstalled with the ie 6 default and I cannot browse on websites. Is it all because I installed the internet explorer 7 before? How can I fix it? Please help me!!!! I know that Firefox is better but I need ie also.

I need to be able to enter a column of data in an Excel spreadsheet (dollars and cents), then re-enter the exact same data in another column, having a formula in it that gives an error or beep or something if the values entered in the second column's rows are in any way different from those entered in the first column's rows. The purpose is to make sure there were no typos when the column of numbers was entered. But I know nothing about writing Excel formulas. Any ideas?

Ya know, on the computer sometimes there are free clips to watch before you buy a film?

I have real one, and media something, I've got them. But then the clips start, and they say they are playing, and I can see the bar moving down the bottom, but the screen is totally blank.

I don't know how to put one of my players into it. I figure they are using there player, but I still can't see anything.

I first installed WindowBlinds free trial, then I uninstalled it and my theme went to the Classic Windows Theme, but when I tried to change it back, the windows xp theme was gone. Then I found something called UxTheme Patcher, which I installed. Then, since the theme was still windows classic (which i absolutly HATE), I got Alienware Theme thingy (whatever it is?!!). It still isn't fixed and I cant get System restore to go back to the time when everything wasn't messed up, even after I uninstalled all the stuff that I installed. Someone please help!!!!

I used to watch videos and movies using Media Player but my friend lended me the DVD player Cd where I installed the "DVD Player". I realized that this progam was rubish because it couldn't read some videos so I uninstalled it. After I uninstalled it, I could use the Window Media Player and I can't watch any videos! I Disfragmented my PC to put things in order to see if it could open but it is useless. I am planning to unistall Media Player and install it again but were in the "Add or Remove" link in the control Panel, the Windows Media Player does not appear. Help?
